First time I write, I take this opportunity to introduce myself…I play double bass for three years, I’m from Spain…pleased to meet you !. I’m writing because I want to mention how good is playing Johnny Sciascia, the double bass player in the Eilen Jewell’s band. He is good slaping, but he don’t abuse, and his sound is perfect for country music…Watch this video…What are the strings he uses?. They seems gut, but E/A strings seems narrower than the typical .170/.150 thickness…
