Who made these?

I have a general question about a set of strings that I really like. They came with the bass at the time of purchase and are very reponsive to the bow. I would really like to know who manufactures them. All I can tell you is that they have two-tone cloth leaders (topaz and black) for the A, D and G strings and the E string is a solid red. Do these sound familiar to anyone?

Sounds like Corelli's with a Spirocore E.

I never thought of looking at that end.

The G, D and A meet the Pirastro tone color-ID, but not the E, which is probably a Weich Spirocore.
Is it a solid topaz ring at the top of black silk, or a twist ?

E would likely be a Spirocore Weich as Francois thought.
I would agree with clink that the rest are Corelli's. Tungsten.

The 370M set is light blue with a black twist (spiral) at the tailpiece.
However, I don't think the tone color-ID fit at the peg-end with the colors provided by the OP.

Francois: I got the blue/black with the black end ID from Chris Quinn's string id chart.

I believe Corelli's have solid light blue at the pegbox end. Would have to go dig them out to be sure but I know they aren't brown, red and black.
The E is def a spiro weich.

Like I said, it's the peg-end colors that don't match with the corelli coding.

The OP should post pics showing both ends.
