I've been played with this set for a long time, it was the best i've had.
For the E string i used an Obligato or an EP medium gauge.
I think an old Spiro weich will be ok.

The Perm E is a good match. The kicker is that the pizz sound is also getting better, especially for someone like me who's not looking for a 60 second G on the E string. Only drawback so far is that now the Spiro Weichs on my Vertical Bass feel really soft. If i stick with the Flexocors, I may have to move up to Mittels. |

I'm going to snag a couple of Gs and Ds and sell the rest after I sort them for condition. All proceeds go to my friend. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
