If I’m reading it correctly, for every set you buy, they’ll throw in another for free.

Just ordered a set (x2) of the ss five string. They’re low tension, but I’ll put them on the Squier and see how they feel.

Edit: ended up getting the nickels, but after reading TB threads on them, I'm cool with that.

I bought a years worth last time they ran this. By far my favorite strings (Nickel MED 5's). I switched from a long time DR user to these and can't give them enough praise. These guys ship extremely quick to boot.

Bought a few sets of the 5 strings steels last time they had the BOGO deal and I'm very happy with them so far. Just ordered a few more sets... Can't go wrong with this deal. I've been playing Sadowsky's for the last few years and DR before that. These are just as good if not better for my purposes. The B string just kills!

MMBongo -
Thanks for the tip!!! Bought my first dunlops, Installed/set up my early SX P-J with the Funky Headstock and old BAII - used it Sunday at a one set benefit gig - through a nice Ampeg rig/house system....

Heh heh heh !!!! First time we played as a 3 pc and the extra growl was nice. One very NASHTY Dog!!!

Nice set up - great feel to the strings, and even though they were the nickle rounds, they were still brighter than I USUALLY like, but it was cool. they were very full sounding, and had all the cut, bite and growl anyone would ever want.

I have SD 1/4 lb in the neck and Lace Sensor J at the Brisge, and it was pretty damned Intense.

If I had to compare it to anything, it would be like a good trailer park hooker that could suck-start a Harley on a cold morning, and give you change from your $20.

Heh heh heh.....

One more shout out for the heads up. I ordered Saturday night and the strings arrived today (Tuesday) in the mail. As noted above, a personal note and stickers. Very impressive.

They're up to $19.95 (2 sets) now, but I want to try Dunlops. So I ordered them.

2 - nickel & 2 - stainless. I hope they're as good as everyone here says they are.

Update: I ordered them (late) Wednesday evening and they arrived today (Saturday)!! So great shipping, on top of a great price!

For you folks that have tried the Trujillo stainless ones, what do you think? They fall short of my brightness expectations. I normally use D'addario Prosteels, and even my Prosteel B string is brighter than the rest of the 4 Trujillo strings. Are the normal stainless Dunlops any brighter than the Trujillo ones? And to folks who've played both Prosteels and Dunlop steels, how do you think they compare brightness wise?
