$90 Jay Turser '54 P-Bass clone - Austin

Guitar Center south had one of these in their used bass area today. Not a bad bass for $90 (I just received a 10% coupon from the other day, so you could walk it out the door for just less than $90).

It looked brand new (probably brought in by a dealer, they had a few Jay Turser guitars as well). Only "issue" was that the A string buzzed when played open... Probably needs either a larger guage A string, or a new nut.

I bought one today from the guitar center in Park Meadows mall in Denver. I was visiting and decided to stop. I was trying out one of the Squier Jags when my daughter said look at that yellow one. I tried it out and 5 minutes later was ringing it up. They are in the used section but my buddy who is the operations manager there said they are new but Jay Turser blew them out cheap and stamped the headstock used. I could sand the used off in about 30 seconds on mine. No matter it plays and sounds amazing. Especially for $90.00. I am going to find a white pearl guard for it and rock the hell out of it. I'll try to get some pics later.
