Damn! This has been happening too damn much recently! I am not shopping for any new basses, then I come across an outstanding deal like this which is too good to pass up. D'oh! Just bought one of the 4-string golden Big Als.

I bought it for $1,173 (plus tax) when there were two left. Already updated to one left and now the price has jumped to $1,715!

You will be soooooooo happy with your Big Al. It very quickly become my #1 bass. Full of tons and tons of awesome tones. Thank god for me I've already got all the Musicmans I need. These kinda talkbass bargains are hitting me hard also. ATKs, Jazz basses, now Musicmans. Turned a friend onto one of the white Stingrays though.

Bongos are normally 2100+? I thought they were like 1100ish the last I saw street price. I reallyyyyy want a reflex when they come out, but I'll have to wait for the used market to settle on them as I just refuse to pay that much.

I hope NOS ! as I ordered a MM SM Y2D since my strat copy has a split in the head (plays fine) and will be gifted to a friend. It was $200. less than a couple of weeks ago and much less then any other place i've seen. I passed on a bass because of the MM BFR Stingray 5 I bought from a from a TB member about 2 weeks ago. It's a honey burst with a roasted neck thats outta this world pretty. Thanks to the OP that brought this to my attn.

I may still pick up a bass still with 2012 coming I rather go with no money left in the bank

Im trying an M123 pricematch on a basic one humbucker Stingray. Amazon has it for $992. M123 doesnt seem to have the same ones in stock. I'm not familiar with Musicman models, but it seems they have a million colors with 4 different neck types and 1 or 2 humbuckers and 4 or 5 strings...enough to make my head spin...and that's just stingrays!
