This bass was origionally white, but has aged to a nice yellow. The serial number is 387913, a 1972, I believe. It is a short scale bass, which is easier for youth and females to play. It has Fender flat-wound strings which are smooth, easy to play, and have no string noise. It comes with the origional soft sided case as shown. This is a sweet little bass! I have owned it about 20 years, and have rarely used it. The fretless frets are not factory origional, but were replaced before I bought it. A guitar shop can easily replace with regular frets.
