Not sure if it's real. I don't feel like dealing with it but thought someone here might.

I have a 1974 Fender Precision bass. All original. Is somewhat playable. Wanted to retore and use, however dont
have time nor the resources to invest.
I would like to move it, and want to sell and partial trade.
I will take 200 and a sansamp for the bass.
The 74 is vauable when completely restored have seen them go for as much as 3000.00.
I will send pictures upon request to avoid scammer emails and such. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
Scott.
Here are some pics, The issues that I know are needs to be rewired possibly new pots and pickup. Not Sure though
I am not a guitar repairman. I did restring it once to check the neck seems ok again I am not a luthier.
Needs to be buffed out to bring out the natural finish of the bass ( someone put stickers all over it, what a shame)
Hardware is intact needs to be cleaned up. That’s about all I know. Thanks and have a great day.
Scott
I am not available to meet today
Here are the pics he emailed me:

I think the guy is a flake.
I responded to the ad shortly after it was posted, told him I was interested and no reply. I followed up two more times with contact info and still no reply. I did identify myself as a luthier and that may have pushed him away if he were hiding something. Don't know?
If it sounds too good to be true it usually is!

not sure,
he didn't reply me either.
and I'm no liuther.
250$ doesn't really sound like a price high enough for him for to risk being caught

I think there's a strategy where "listers" put in a low price and then go for the highest offer

He replied quickly with the pics but I don't have the eye to buy a bass I can't play first. Since it was unstrung and he described it as "playable" and probably in need of electronics I backed off. Seems weird he restrung it but now there are no strings.

Anyone in the area wish to pick this up for me, and be compensated for their time/shipping?

"I am not available to meet today"

What an odd thing to say in a listing, does he change the ad on the days he is available?
