claims to be 100% original, but I assure you that the nut is not original. Aside from that, nice bass at a fair price. Not a "Hot Deal" IMHO, but fair.

Original is just that, original. Not "the nut is brass". This guy has been listing Fender basses and Fender parts since forever. He knows his stuff, and more importantly he knows better. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

My prime rule FWIW: If anything looks shady in any listing, and things go south after you decide to take the deal, it's not like you weren't warned...

It definitely has the 70's kitsch vibe. I once had a 74 Tele in that color combo.

I have this exact bass except mine is a '76 and it is a beast. I think it is a very fair price. I have delt with this seller before and he is a good guy.
