Wasn't the Musicmaster like the cheapest bass ever produced by Fender? Bearing in mind that older isn't always better, you can score a fine MIM J or P on craigslist for the same money.

I don't know. I just think it'd be cool to own a vintage fender. . But I'm strapped for cash and need an amp more than anything. :/

Yup, it was the bottom end. But as it was my first bass, I wouldn't mind it for a bit of nostalgia. Lack of room for it at the moment.
