Rickenbacker 4001/3 copy (1977 UNIVOX Stereo Bass Guitar Model 1977B)

The bass has some scratches from wear over the years (after all, it is 32 years old), but sounds awesome and plays nice. It has a single truss rod, as opposed to the two in a Ric, so it doesn’t have as much neck dip. It could do with a once over by a guitar shop to check out the solder joints, connections, switches, etc. The bridge pick-up was replaced about a year ago with a Seymour-Duncan Rickenbacker replacement pick-up.

Damn. For that bass at that price I'd jump in the truck and drive down right now overnight to pick it up.

Except my fiance would strangle me. Someone else take it quick to make it disappear and my GAS go away.
