Amazon has the Jackson C20 Concert bass for $129 (83% off) with free shipping. Looks like a pretty good price for someone wanting an inexpensive 1st bass.
I'm taking a pass because I already have a Peavey Fury and an SX P/J.

You can also order directly from J&R's website. Ebates gives you a 2.5% rebate and using coupon code "jrgoog" knocks another $10 off.

| | | | I've played on a couple in some local shops.
The pups are were kind of weak, and the neck was pretty much a standard Jackson neck, pretty flat and wide all the way down. But for $129 if you don't like it, fleabay it. Or paint it pink and donate it to a Relay For Life for the silent auction.
JMO To each their own.
