List price of $799?? That's BS. It sells for about $200 or less pretty much anywhere.

Sweetwater has a list price of only $390, so you only save $191. Amazon list is $799, so you save an amazing $619!!!

i use one and really like it... has a low freq cut which is nice.. tons of gain... compressor i can live with or without

toob compressor on mine is microphonic so i cant really comment to much.

ive goofed around with the sansamp to the crown (no art) and i like the art in the chain much better...

between the sansamp and the prochannel i can get a sorta (tube) poweramp squish out of it..

for the price id say go for it.. its a decent mic pre also (kick especially)
