I saw this yesterday but had no idea how long it would take me to run down a set of rack ears. Then a client called and I got tied up.

Congrats to those that grabbed one. The MF extended warranty seems to be the wise move in this case.

I received mine yesterday before practice. It is a revision C00 and came with the rack ears. It sounds glorious!

Well I'm glad to hear that because mine is coming today and the girlfriend is working late!

I purchased a restock from MF earlier in the year on this same model after the phone rep said it came with a full warranty. After receipt, I contacted Ampeg and they said it only comes with a 90 day warrant since it's a refurb/restock and not a new product.

Though someone else pointed out you can simply buy an extended warranty.

Just making sure you're aware of the potential warranty issue and don't sail into the future and found out in 16 months when it's too late that you're out of warranty.

So I got mine on Wednesday (Rev C00 w/rack ears) and after a few days with it I have decided that I am going to set my RBI/power amp rig on fire because it pales in comparison to the awesomeness that is the SVT 7-Pro. I'm pretty blown away with how great it sounds with my 5 string Pbass strung with chromes, its really round and old skool tube-like, which is excellent because i have been chasing that tone for quite some time. I played my Squier VM jazz V through it for a few minutes but not enough to dial in my tone exactly, though I have no doubt I could quite easily. I haven't gigged it or took it to practice yet but I'm sure it will sound amazing. Well done ampeg, the SVT 7-Pro really is an amazing amplifier.
