I don't know if it is a typo or not but it appears this site (which is an austhorized ampeg re-seller) has the full stack at $300 AND ampeg has that $100 mail in rebate.... http://www.hollywoodguitars.com/ampeg-micro-vr.html
figure someone might as well give it a go |

I just picked one up, will let you know if the order goes through... I may get two, having two 210s will be perfect! I could sell the extra head and break even!
Where is the link to the mail-in rebate? I couldn't find it on Ampeg's site. |

I'm going to see if they will match. If so, it puts the price of this stack at $230 ($130 after rebate). |

I find it odd that they sell the stack or the cab, but you can't purchase the head.

I see they've charged my card, but still no e-mail confirming the order...
I see they updated the web page though.
I'm crossing my fingers they honor the original deal, and maybe I'll get a nice Christmas surprise... But, I'm not banking on it.
I think it's too bad... This really seems to be a much better price point for this stack to me. $600 seems pretty steep IMO.
I could maybe see $450 tops.
To Froghat: what was their offer to you when you called? |

This is neither... Made in China should come with a much lower expectation on price point.
I can pick up a 500W GK MB-210 combo for the price of this Ampeg stack. Pricing it lower keeps it more competitve IMO. |

They're offering the stack at $299.99... Not including the 123%, but I think that's a good enough deal for me!
