Cheap Strings

Sign in to disble this ad
Sam Ash is blowing out their "Guitar Research" house brand strings-
(3) sets of lights for $2.00 (total!), (3) sets of mediums for $10. And right now you get free shipping.

I have no idea if they're any good or not... but they are cheap.

Whoa, great tip. Can't beat a 7.92 for a dozen sets for my son!!

Crazy. Hope they are not made of lead or something.

If you buy them in multiples of 3, it's $2per three sets.

In other words: 3 sets= $2, 6 sets= $4, 9 sets = $6, etc etc.

I don't play lights, but I bought 9 sets anyway. For $6, why the hell not? I figure if I ever sell one of my basses I'll put a fresh set of lights on it and keep the good strings. I can give them to friends. I can hang pictures with them, at $.66 a set.

I also bought some mediums, just to keep in my cases as backups.

.10 gauge guitar strings are $10/10 sets too, so I bought some of those as well.

Hope ya like them. I got some basically to give away to people that may need a set. I can't imagine that they are that great and I hate to play crappy strings.

I am going to restring all my basses that pretty much sit in their cases! Then they can be put away with nice new strings! At $1.50 per set, I can keep my basses with new strings without a worry.
