Sam Ash is blowing out their "Guitar Research" house brand strings-
(3) sets of lights for $2.00 (total!), (3) sets of mediums for $10. And right now you get free shipping.
I have no idea if they're any good or not... but they are cheap. http://www.samash.com/webapp/wcs/sto...0002_-49980807 http://www.samash.com/webapp/wcs/sto...0002_-49976417

Crazy. Hope they are not made of lead or something.

In other words: 3 sets= $2, 6 sets= $4, 9 sets = $6, etc etc.
I don't play lights, but I bought 9 sets anyway. For $6, why the hell not? I figure if I ever sell one of my basses I'll put a fresh set of lights on it and keep the good strings. I can give them to friends. I can hang pictures with them, at $.66 a set.
I also bought some mediums, just to keep in my cases as backups.
.10 gauge guitar strings are $10/10 sets too, so I bought some of those as well.
