I did 2nd day shipping, but when I got the shipment notice, it was scheduled to be delivered 5 days after shipment? I hope FedEx got that wrong... then again, I'm not in any rush for them, so... *shrug*

I put them on my Celinder Marcus Miller and they sound good. Not the best strings I've used, but not bad at all. Feeling is a little on the rough side, but many high-end strings are too. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I got mine yesterday and strung up a set of lights. They'll do the job. And I just ordered 5 more medium gauge tonight. I got 5 sets for 16 bucks with free FedEx 2 day shipping.

Well, I contacted FedEx and had them hold my package at the FedEx location and just picked them up...otherwise they would have been shipped back to Sam Ash and my order would have been canceled b/c they put an incomplete address on my shipment and wouldn't change it. SO besides the shipping debacle the strings seem ok..I haven't put them on anything yet.

The box was huge...I only ordered 20 sets (only..haha)....it probably cost them $20 to ship it to me.

Today? Saturday shipping? Grrr. Why do I have to wait until Monday for my "2-day" shipping. Grrrr

(for the $14 I paid, I'm sure shipping was at least that amount if not more!)

Geez, I ordered 10 sets of the 45-100 Bass strings and I got 10 sets of Guitar strings delivered yesterday. Both my shipping information e-mail and my invoice say I ordered GGSB4510X GSB4510 Light Electric Bass 4 String Set (45-100).
Assmunches.

Update: I called their 1-800 number and was told that they have sold-out of the strings. The person that I spoke with said that they would refund my money from the purchase, and told me to "keep the guitar strings and pass the out to my guitar friends".
Anybody have a few extra sets that they can send to me?

Much better than expected, and honestly quite favorable to many name brands I've had. Pretty bright for nickels.....I love the new string zing though.

Honestly, I think these are decent at any price, and would consider them with any of my more expensive normal choices. YMMV bass to bass, but they work very well on a haz-lab era spector.

Just found out that these strings have a smaller than normal ball on the end, so they might not work with all bridges. I tried to put a set on my Sadowsky PJ and the balls just pulled right through the end of the bridge.

FWIW - it appears they have more back in stock - and still at the low price, and free 2 day shipping!
