I don't recall the Aerodyne coming in blue... Or having a pickguard. Am I missing something?

Fender Japan gets much better looking instruments IMO.Their not for the US market. I've seen there Aerodyne Jazzes with pickguards.

These were available domestically, but they didn't last long. This was the "Aerodyne Classic" and I believe they were available in transparent blue and natural.

They were available in red, blue and a natural/amber finish. I contacted the seller and wanted to buy it, but I'm located near Chicago and he's about 3 hours away. He wasn't willing to travel part-way and I don't have time to drive to get it. Too bad... I really like these.
