I was just in Atlanta, and went to the Guitar Center in Marietta. Saw a Fender American Deluxe Jazz 5 string bass, it was listed at $1599 with molded case. Thought that was an ok price, spoke with the sales guy, came back with $1299! Now I think that is a good deal, took it home. Apparently they are making room for the new 2010 models that have just come out. They don't have many in stock but worth checking, maybe online as well. I think the older version 08 to 09 are great basses, much improved and like the look too. Plays and sounds great. |
