FWIW(I called and asked): I'm specifically in the market for the cheapo cases that M123 does not have. MF has their cases(cheapo's for me) at 5% discounted and free ship after your order is over $99. I smell new cases.....

My email didn't mention anything about a code. Did you go all the way to the end (checkout) to see if they add a credit or something before you confirm payment?

True, but I have had very good experiences buying from Music123, especially because of their ability to beat advertised prices. I look up stuff on amazon, post the link, and they have always beat that price by a respectable amount.

But I agree that it is crappy to label something as everything, when it really isn't....

I believe Sweetwater has free shipping on pretty much everything all the time, No "special event" required. I just bought a $6.99 capo from them and paid no shipping.

Hey all. I work Music 123 and saw this thread. I'd like to apologize for the confusion regarding the free shipping. For some reason, they weren't able to get the free shipping to work for online orders, so we have to do it manually over the phone. You are correct in that heavy, truck and expedited items were excluded from the offer. I haven't seen the e-mail we sent out, but I'm sorry the wording wasn't more clear on that bit :-/. I've passed that info along to our marketing guys; we really aren't trying to pull a bait-and-switch here.

I ordered a $19. guitar stand last night online. It came up with free shipping on my recipt. I've bought a number of things with Music123. Never had anything but great service.

So I ordered a strap and some locks and found a Schick razor in there . Dunno if it's some crazy promo or some poor guy in shipping who bought one and accidentally put it into my order.
