I am confused, why is this cab so cheap ? Its $700 less than an Ampeg 810E.............where have they cut the corners?

yea, that is insanely cheap. The speakers alone would be worth more than $300. I wonder if it sounds horrible.

My friend own this piece of machinery. he lives in an apartment and this thing is a monster to carry by oneself. We were going up the stairs and we dropped it on its wheels and the wheels broke the wood going into the cab. The horrible site to see was picking out the pieces and realising that the cabinet was made out of cardboard...you heard me right CARDBOARD. the overall sound wasn't affected but, cardboard. If you plan to get this...Be carefull dropping it will cause it to shatter. GK you disappointed me.

Yeah, it was one of those. Seems odd they would limit it to phone orders but who knows. Don't have the flyer handy anymore. One way to find out I guess...

I've been through it a few times with these. Some offers there are incredible and show up nowhere else.
