Better deal than the MF one. But, GC charges state sales tax in most states which really cuts into the discount. I'd try using this discount to get a price match or better from MF or 123 - where you don't pay the tax in nearly all states.

Oh, and here are a few tiny exceptions...

Regarding exclusions, you can pretty much ignore them. They are contracted to state the exclusions but the stores do not have to follow them. In most cases you can buy ANY of those brands stated above at the discounted rate (15% off in this case) when going in the store and asking, but you must ask. And if a new employee does not know, ask a manager. Same applies for calling in on website orders. Just ask. ALWAYS works for me.

Man, this sale was just sad.

I couldn't even get a salesdork to do a $3 pricematch discount on a shopworn pickguard, I swear.

I just went to a GC and picked up one of the discontinued Tascam DR-03's that were on sale for $49. I took a GC survey a while back, and I got an e-mail with a coupon code for "$10 off anything in the the store or online until Sept 6th, 2011'. They wouldn't accept it, as they said it was already on sale.

Shoulda price-matched it at Music123, but I needed it for tonight. But at least the guys in Pro Audio acknowledged my existence unlike so many of the guitar guys.

But it's still a heckuva deal for a little rehearsal recorder!
