Good advice.
I do know that you can return it to your nearest GC store, no matter where it was shipped from, if that helps any.
Being a person who’s shy about buying used, their policies make it more comfortable for me.
I’ve gotten a few good deals there, and a couple very-good deals, and those weren’t “price drop” deals.
A Fender ‘65ri Twin Reverb, Hot Rod Deville 410, a couple Fender four-string basses, an old GK 410 cab, lotsa drum hardware and cymbals…
Hell… I can’t recall them all, but whatever I’ve gotten from there that I’ve sold through CL, I got what or more than I paid.
My guitard has been trying to get a Morley Steve Vai wawa pedal (I offered him my Dunop Hendrix, but…) and getting beat out on ebay, and I found one from GC used for… well, after tax/shipping, $59, which is better than the best deal he’s tried for… so that’ll be his Xmas gift.
(Fortunately it’ll be here before Saturday (only one gig this weekend), so I’ll just give it to him then so he doesn’t buy one and can gig it now.)
In any case, as I said, I’m very backward about buying used, but GC does give one some security in that you can try it out for a while, and return it if you want.
