Guitar Center is giving $10 credit per #1 review with a max of 5 reviews. That means if your rating is #1, you just scored $10 GC credit. I don't own anything on the review list but I'm sure somebody here does. It ends June 30th. Just thought somebody here would appreciate this. Good luck.
Seems pretty sneaky actually. I would think that people will only write positive reviews if they think they are going to get to #1 and get $10, even if they didn't like the product...so it really could be bad for musicians in the long run. I could be wrong though.

That crossed my mind at first. Hopefully there is enough honest musicians out there that will do it truthfully. The use of photo identification of the product to be eligible could work but that would be "too much work" for the employees.
I'm not too worried about that because if a negative or "meh" review is really descriptive and compelling, then it should get more + votes than a totally positive review that's just obviously hype.
