*I can't see the headstock clearly in their picture to determine whether it's a German Warwick or if it's a proline model. It hasn't migrated over to the main GC site yet. | So if it's not on the main GC site, where are you looking to find these deals?

Try any possible incorrect spelling of a company & you'll likely come up with something. Squi re, etc.
Type "Bass" in the description box, but select guitar from the dropdown menu. As of today, there are 11 pages of mis-categorized bass guitars, which a person may otherwise overlook if they only choose bass from the dropdown menu.
I can't find it now, but they had a Warwick C Rorvette listed yesterday.

Hey, if someone here happens to buy it, please print a small "Chorvette" sticker in the shape of the truss rod cover.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: SE Portland Oregon | | | two days ago, there were three Carvin B1500 heads from various GC on the used inventory site. All had obviously been sitting around for a while in their respect shops cause they were marked down to $350, two of which came with a nice rack case. I took ONE day to weigh my options, go on last night to buy one and BAM, all are gone, the last one sold like 5 minutes before I got on the site. Soo bummed. Being able to get a powerful head at that price was going to help me out a ton. I really hope some one didn't buy all three just to make a profit... bah. /rant

Also, keep checking as stuff seems to drop off the face of the earth and the appear out of nowhere.
There's currently one in Cincinnati for $499.99. You could always call them and make an offer...

Gonna keep on looking... the GC online customer service guy last night says that price drops can happen in a couple weeks, the guy in Cincinatti today said that will be several months before they drop the price...

If it's new you can sometimes talk them out of shipping. That's just overall experience, always varies, but these seem to be the most common outcomes. |

I tried a bass I wanted but needed a bad setup and they refused to budge on price or throw in a case or setup.

Perhaps there will be price drops | Find out the year, they made removable truss rods for awhile and the old aluminum ones are known for getting weak, a new iron one costs $60 or so shipped. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
