I know its not bass related, but the price on this is just ridiculous. I have it on CD and I don't hate it, but it's not great either... if anything it's pretty entertaining, but I can't pass up the chance to get it on vinyl for $2.
Looks like Best Buy got stuck with a ton of these after their exclusive deal with G'N'R, and now they're dumping them for $1.99... if you do store pickup you pay sales tax, but no shipping or anything. Chinese Democracy [LP] - VINYL - Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy - CD - Guns N' Roses

I happened to enjoy the album, and if I didn't already own it, I'd definitely grab it for that price, which is an absolute steal.

| | Maharajah Endorsing: SIT, Eastwood, Hanson | | Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Hollywood, CA | | | i won't lie... I went out and bought this on vinyl after i saw the discount price. More because I'm just now building a vinyl collection, and this is a pretty hilarious album to own... imagine putting it on at a party!
Anyway, for anyone interested it's a double LP and comes on 180 gram vinyl. It does include a free digital download but I haven't tested it because I doubt i'd ever play this off my ipod anyway. That and I already own the cd from when it came out, haha.
It might be silly, but that vinyl edition is worth $2 easily! Just do the in-store pickup so you don't get stuck with a shipping charge.

The free download instructions that come w/ the lp tell you to go to a dead link. The instructions that came w/ the lp say it expired 11/23/09. But their website still says free download w/ lp. I want my download!!!

Danielle was a sympathetic clerk and after 15 minutes of convincing her that the Best Buy site lied to me about my free download with lp purchase she finally said "well what would make you happy aside from a download?" and I said well you could give me a free cd, it's only $1.99 and that way I can easily put it on my computer and then iPod. She asked manager who said ok so yay! I've listened to half of it so far, IMO it's pretty good. I've definitely heard worse albums.

You guys are generally hating it but I thought it was pretty damn good. Not a GnR record per se but some excellent songs.
