That seems like a good deal compared to list, but what's a usual good (but not hot deal) price?

Seems like a great price to me. How does Ibanez neck thru basses like this SRT700DX compare to models such as the SR500 & SR700?

The Ibanez SRT700DX uses EMG 40DC pickups as opposed to the Bartolini MK-1 pickups.

Anyone know if there are reviews on the SRT700DX?

SRT's have a thicker neck and it feels much less flat on the back surface of the neck. People who love SR necks may actually dislike the SRT necks. People who hat SR necks may actually like SRT necks.
Neck-thru construction and sound.

American EMG DC40 or 45, pickups.

more wood on the body (the edges are tapered much less dramatically. That combined with the neck-thru construction means SRTs weigh more. I'd say a solid pound more, at least.).

The whole body is also curved and contoured.
