I've had 2 good Crown XLS 2000 deals from this seller

Both times I made offers (fairly low) and got a counter offer of a new in box 2000 at the original listed price. The second hasn't arrived yet, but the first was new (if not, fooled me) in the box, etc.

So he didn't lower his price even though it says make offer. That would suggest he is just selling at buy it now price unless he lowered the price.

I bought an XLS-1500 from them. It was listed as used but I got a new, unopened unit. I think they list them as used to get around manufacturer's restrictions on advertising prices.

$334 in Nov 2010. BTW, it's a great amp and very small and light. I chose it over the XLS2000 because it is only 8" deep (the 2000 is 10" deep).
