I'm not in a position to pick it up, but I just noticed a beautiful older Ken Smith neck-through BT 4-string, with the sought-after black headstock going for $1500 at Elderly: KEN SMITH BT CUSTOM G (1991) - Elderly Instruments

I live in lansing and check that site daily and did twice the day it was posted and sold. just missed it. I have not been that disappointed in quite a while. Did someone here get it?

Easiest playing bass I've ever touched, even better than my Monarch (granted that one's bolted). I never thought Ken would make a bass this thin either.
