They state this on the site. I just called. Someone was in the store trying to work a deal, but if the person doesn't buy I'm going to. The worst that can happen is I get the bass, play it and don't like it with the crack and return it locally. You get 30 days

I was just talking to them about working a deal so perhaps it was me. The issue is the bass was dropped and actually damaged some of the electronics as well. They say the crack APPEARS as it is finish only but they think it might be more. Someone went over it and fixed the electronics and put in a new pot. If they offer me free shipping I may go for it but otherwise I am going to pass.

Actually....I am just going to pass. IMO with GC the whole dropped with a crack thing just worries me. Have at it guys.

Ah, thank you for the info. I called earlier and they said they were going to call back as soon as the deal went through or fell through. It's been over 2 hours and no phone call. GC employees IMHO, not all, but most (and no offense to anyone that works there) are horrible closers. I call once a week about stuff to get pictures or information on something. They never call back to close a deal. Horrible.

The pot has been changed? Or is the problem just the tiny crack? I'm in if it's just a small crack.

Yep. The way he described it the electronics got damaged when it dropped and a pot needed to be replaced and the electronics needed to be gone over. Beyond that the issue is the crack in the finish.

Call them back and say you know me and I was passing on it. I tried to call them and tell them but they had me on hold forever and I hung up. They have my email and it is johnnyalien@xxxxx.com so if you say Johnny they should know it is me.
