Line 6 HD400 Rackmount NOW $271/New w/10% Deal

Not only is the amp a steal, you couldn't get the separate effects/processors that it has for this price, but there's a matching full function floor controller available for $115/used. A fully loaded amp, 400 watts & controller for $386, free frt. = good deal.

I own that head, and gigged it many times. I bought it because I don’t like anything on the floor, and it had all the features I needed/wanted, and more.

I don’t care for the layout with all same knobs across the front (and labeled below the knobs where they’re hidden unless the head is up high) making it tricky to adjust on the fly, but in typical Marko fashion, I take a sharpie or white-out pen and put my own marks on it.

When I was gigging it, it stayed in the band trailer, but when winter came… musta been because of condensation, but when I brought it in from the cold trailer, it wouldn’t power the cab. I still sent a signal to the board and everything else seemed to be working right, but nothing to the cab all night.

I brought it home and after sitting overnight, it worked fine, so I started doing that, but another gig it got packed back into the trailer, and next gig, same thing.

Other than that it’s a great head, and now mostly powers my music-room rig, but I still gig it from time to time.

I’m pretty sure they discontinued these HDs, and the HD750 hasn’t been available for a while now, but some HD400s left.
