The price on these has been seesawing up and down through the whole holiday season. I so want one, but I just got a Yamaha BB415 for Christmas and can't justify another five string p. Best price yet! Hope they go to good homes.

Has Bass Player ever given any product a bad review?

Not in living memory.

Dang… I had my finger on the trigger for that a few months ago... can’t remember the price at the time, but I’d have hit that at $217 right now, for sure.

I recently went from a 10 lb Fender Jazz V to a 10-¾ lb Ibanez ATK305, which I love btw, but I’ve always been feigning for a five-string P style, and the weight of that is appealing to me.

I’d take the pickguard off or paint it black, and gig the heck outta that thing.

I dunno. I considered it, but this is one of those marginal brands and marginal instruments that aren't going to be fantastic and will be impossible to unload when you decide it needs to go. Face it, nobody's breathlessly searching CL for a Luna.

I know it's tempting to jump on these oddballs when they come up dirt cheap, but they're just not worth it unless you're actually hurting for some cheap bass for an office beater or loaner or a student bass for your flighty niece who probably won't stick with it.

Even at thirty cents on the dollar they're not "good investments."

On the other hand, I got a fantastic Luna ABG gigbag for $12 that fits my Hohner ABG perfectly. I'm totally chuffed about that.
