Yeah, I couldn't believe it either! But BOTH are being sold right now at the same price......$149 shipped!

Read the reviews on MF and here on TB. These amps are really great. Fantastic sound.

Acoustic B100 100W 1x15 Bass Combo: Shop Bass & Other Musical Instruments | Musician's Friend

Acoustic B20 1X12 Bass Combo Amplifier: Shop Bass & Other Musical Instruments | Musician's Friend

I'd jump on this one really fast........

Couldn't resist at that price. Reviews seem good.

Use the code GIVETHEGIFT at checkout and it brings the total down to $142.50.

Doesn't ship until late February, but i'm in no rush so it was no biggie.

How much did these go for previously? My main gig rig is at my practice spot and it would be nice to have a at home amp instead of using a crappy guitar amp

Almost grabbed one of those but decided 100 watts was overkill for a bedroom amp. Ended up with an Ampeg BA108 (25 watt combo) for $27 because of a credit on my Musician's Friend account. Loudest 25 watts ever. This little guy rips.

I don't recall if it's still happening but I got this at 123music for $150 and they had a $15 off so I managed to get it for just $130 or so, I love it so far but its wicked loud

Looks like you can get it at Musician's Friend right now for $142.49 with the code GIVETHEGIFT that expires today (5% off). 10% off if you have $249 or more to order. And free shipping of course.

I'd jump on this for anyone wanting a good 100-watt amp. I played one a Guitar Center last year and they're solid, good tone, pretty loud. I'd jump on it if I didn't already have a GK MB115 as well as a 400-watt H&K combo. Not to mention my "main" 900-watt rig is still very portable, through one Schroeder cab.

You should have tried the Acoustic B20. 20w version of the 100w amp. Beautiful tone. Loudest 20 watts ever. And a 12" speaker to boot!

And you were right, the 100w was severe overkill for your situation........Especially for these Acoustics that all sound considerably louder than their rated wattage. IMHO, they are the best price/value deal on the market. And they really deliver on tone.

Yeah, I thought about that one but it was about $30-$40 more and I was trying to save every penny for this purchase. The Ampeg was like $87 "used but mint", with a $10 off promo code and a $50 credit that was already on my account that was given to me by a Musician's Friend rep. So for $27 I couldn't go wrong for a nice little brand new Ampeg 25-watt amp

I'd jump all over this if I didn't already have one in my practice space to use. I highly recommend this amp both for a great practice room rig and a very formidable small show setup.

Now if they'd only combine the 12 with the 100W amp, we'd be getting somewhere.

Just looked at the specs, doesn't seem that much more portable than my Streamliner/uber quad. But at that price it will be nice just to leave the acoustic in the practice room, ha!

Quad: 23"H x 24.5"W x 18.25"D - 58lbs
B100: 23.5"H x 18.75"W x 15"D - 53lbs

I advise saving your dough. I have a B100, sounded great until the speaker crapped out less than a year later. :/

I received mine today, box beat to hell and punctured all the way through resulting in two large rips in the tolex. Seems these guys are backordered until february, and there is a long line. I emailed customer service...

Sounds like you got a bad one. Just like lemons in ANY product category like cars, cameras, computers, cell phones, TVs, etc. It can happen with any mass produced item. Wouldn't let it negatively reflect on ALL B100s UNLESS you read of it happening again and again. And I have seen no indication of that anywhere. Have you?
