They've been pretty awful for quite a while.

I haven't bought anything from MF in at least six months, purely because the deals aren't there.

I've been comparing their "sale" prices on various stuff I bought previously, and it's as much as THREE TIMES more than the sale prices I paid for the identical gear in 2008 or so, which seems to be when about 90% of their real deals ended.

I think the huge discounting we were seeing in 2006-2008 was mainly an precursor to the big economic crash, manufacturers aggressively dumping stuff to generate cash flow.

Anyway, prices are up and sales are down.
