They did have the PL24 on sale for $25 and the PL44 for $30 just a month ago. That might be something worth calling in to ask about.

My church ordered a boat load of the PL84 condensers for $40. The price went back up to $130 for a while but now they're down again. Read the reviews--these mikes are comparable to much more expensive Shures. In A/B testing, one musician preferred the $40 EV to a $600+ Neumann!
