I tried it, didn't work, there are several excluded brands...namely Squier. Kinda cheap I thought.

Bummer. I bought Beato drum gig bags and it worked on those.

FMIC stuff was on the excluded list -- but if you called, they'd do it for you.

I called, that's how I found out about the excluded list. I should probably buy locally anyway.
