Looks like Musician's Friend is blowing out all their Scratch and Dent stuff this weekend, with increasing discounts as the weekend progresses...

Today 10% off
Friday 15%
Saturday 20%
Sunday 25%
Monday 30%

Yeah, I'll wait until Sunday, then see if I "need" anything too. I expect the stuff to really go on Monday so I might as well just blow 5% more to have a better selection on Sunday. I just hope they keep their inventory status up to date. Other times when I have purchased something in a great deal from MF or Music123, the order is placed and confirmed, then a couple days later they say they were sold out before fulfilling my order. Happens alot in that place.

I noticed a Geddy, Marcus Miller, Roscoe Beck and a few other good basses. If they are around on Monday and the damage isn't too bad, some folks could get some great deals.

Does this work on there used gear to? or just scratch n dent?

If you ever get a chance to go to the actual store, (here in KC for instance) they have super deals every day not found online, and you can plug it in and make sure it's cool before you get it. I just got an Ampeg svt12he cab for $112 bucks last wednesday. It was marked $208 because of a dent in the grill cloth edge. That particular day they were having 40% of guitars (and basses ) and 50% off all other scratch and dent. The cool thing is that if you want to buy something NEW you can just have them go get it from the warehouse for you instead of paying for shipping etc.

They specifically exclude used gear in these sales. They had an Epi thunderbird pro V for $411 used. I would have gotten that instead if it was 40% off.

dude i saw that t bird! and it was available when they were having the 20% off of any used bass sale and i took a jazz 24 instead.....mistake

i dont like the jazz 24, i hate 24 frets lol.

Well guys and gals its 30% off as of now but there really isnt much.
