Yeah the "this one is for the heroes... and friends of heroes" line made my stomach turn. It's almost more disrespectful of veterans since they aren't being given any special deals, they are just being used as a cheap frame to hang a regularly-scheduled sale.

I know, Memorial Day sales are a tradition nationwide... but they don't have to be tacky.

Sure, these stores have Memorial Day sales every year. So? AMS's sale is almost identical to the Bain (GC,MF,M123, etc.) sale, but you only get the 15% if you spend over $1000.

Yep. I posted a list last month of all the music-gear companies owned by Bain, and it was about twenty of them, including most of the bigger online brands.
