It's still a fair price for a good product but it's kind of a cheesy way to get there.....

I would be surprised if they actually charged you $40 shipping. Hell, send me $120 and I'll buy and ship it for you.

actually... they have some very low prices on gig bags, despite the hefty shipping charge. there was a link to a Mono M80 case for $119, plus 40.... total of $159. Anywhere else on the net it's 189.

I only know this because i JUST bought a Mono case (and it's amazing). I had to shop around for a while, and eventually got the price down about 10 bucks by using a guitar center coupon (had to eat the tax, but still saved a little). Makes me wonder what else these guys have for cheap...

NEVERMIND. that bag was used, and that's about the right/normal price.

These cases from Daddy's are USED, not new.

they can shuttle it to a local store at no charge, for those of us who live in New England and have a local store. If you search eBay or classifieds for Summit bags, they are usually $25-50 and IMO just as good as either. I have a couple, they have steel spines, nice padding for a fraction of the cost. They were $100-120 new 7 years ago FWIW.
