There's a used MTD 535 at Sam Ash, on Cicero for $2199!!
Its an older one because it has a Wilkinson bridge but its in perfect condition. Can't tell what the woods are but the body is not ash or alder, Its a darker wood, probably mahogany or korinna. It has a flamed maple top and teal finish. The neck is also not maple or ash. it is a light colored wood with a raw feel almost like wenge and a dark board, probably rosewood. Its the 1st USA MTD I've ever played but I think it sounds great. I am not associated with the store or seller at all, just saw a great deal and passing the word.
