It makes you wonder how much companies are raking in on strings if they can sell them (at what I imagine is their cost) so cheaply.
For that price you could be a Steve Harris and change your strings for every gig LMAO! |

I think string companies are the Starbucks of the musical world.
There has to be a reason that bass string prices haven't changed all that much in over 20 years.

I remember paying around $30 per set for Rotosounds in the 80's. Then I discovered GHS Boomers which were almost as zingy (it was the 80's!) and they were around $24 dollars. |

And I do change them about every gig or two, just because I can. I still like the zing of new strings....
