If I'm not mistaken than GC blew these out for 100 bucks some while back.

Yup, I got two of those, a 4 string and a 5 string at GC like 2 or 3 years ago for $99. Sold the 5 string to pay for the 4 string, then sold the 4 string a year later for $200. $300 really isn't a bad deal at all though.

Wow. I'd have bought a few of em for $99. I don't know why. I'd just feel I had to.

Yeah, thats exactly how I felt, lol. I bought a blue 4 string right as they opened that morning (It was one of the list events, back when the list actually had unbelievable deals, like this one), then I went home and went back to sleep for like 30 minutes, only to wake out of the sleep and I hurried up and picked up the phone and called to see if they still had the black 5 string. They said yes (I couldn't believe nobody had bought it yet) and I asked them to hold it for 10 minutes so I could come back and get it. They only had the two left when they opened, so I ended up getting both.

I think that was the year they had all the strings marked at $5 a set. I remember buying like 10 sets of strings. I wish they still did stuff like that.
