I tried to order a Korg Pitchblack from Music 123 today and was told the 15% does not apply. The list of manufacturers they said it did not apply to was pretty much their entire inventory. Very deceptive advertising in my opinion.

Actually, Music123 fully discloses...........not at all deceptive....... With this or any sale you really need to read the fine print.

I just got off the horn with Musicians Friend. They've got a 15% off anything deal going today on phone or online orders. Just use the coupon code "CYBER" when you're playing your order. Knocked a couple hundo off the P-Bass I just bought. Zing! (they also price-matched an online competitor, lowering it even more for me, huzzah).

Can you stack more then one coupon? I'm not used to online ordering much.

Let's say I buy a VM modified fretless at 299.99, can I use the 10% off for squier products (FANS) and then add the cybermonday 15% off (CYBER) to get a nice little 25% off? At MF that is. Or is there any other website where I'd score better?

edit: and let's say use ebates on top of it for a big 33% off

No.

Apparently someone managed to get someone on the phone to do this by accident, but I tried repeatedly and was shot down each time.

The Cyber Monday thing for that purchase would only be 10% anyway, not 15%.

Tried online just now. No dice.

You can get SamAsh.Com to stack a $50 discount on top of the 10% Fender discount (and get 4% eBate), but nothing at MF.

No, only on $700+ purchases. It's less for anything under that.

I was just able to stack 2 discounts at samash online. %10 off for purchasing a Squire ( the discount is automaticaly added in the cart) and an additional $50 off purchases over $225 (enter code 50THANKS in the cart) Free shipping and no tax. Got a Squire Classic Vibe P bass for $270 normally $349

OK, you win. I bought that danged Jaguar.

I've been iffy on the Jag, but I was thinking last night about gear I passed on and wished I hadn't and stuff I got and wished I would have passed on. After hard thought, I decided that the Jag would turn out to be in the former category and they are evaporating. The whites are gone at MF and the blacks are gone at SamAsh.Com, so I don't expect them to stick around much longer while I wait for a price.
