Picked up a PF500 today for $329 before tax...

I am not a fan of Guitar Center, so I'm not posting this to benefit them, but I took advantage of one of their seemingly constant promotions (this one was a Valentines day promotion. Got $70 off when I spent $349 or more, so I picked up a PF500 that was normally $399. Not a bad deal at all and just thought I'd pass it on for others.

I'm in California, so we pay tax on everything, even stuff ordered online. Musicians Friend has a promo now though, that waives CA sales tax on all orders over $99.

Except that if they offer a higher % discount than the tax rate, you get the discount but then pay the tax. :(
