Ric Project??

Don't know if can be considered a deal or not. Depends on the work involved. My only question is, is it a real Ric? I didn't know they had bolt on versions....

I believe all Ric basses are neck-through. This is definitely a copy. And it is a project that will take considerable skill, time, and money to make it a player.

For the record, I don't love Raymond.

That was an Electra Corsair with a Ricky truss rod cover and EMG PUPs. It sold this morning. I actually missed it by minutes. I really wanted that Electra OHSC for my Corsair project! LOL! For $100, it was worth it for that vintage case alone.

Shame too, as I could have used parts from both basses to squeeze out another.

The only 4000 series bass necks that were bolted on were the 4080 and 4080/12 double neck guitars. Since that's what was in the ad, my response was regarding 4000 series basses.
