G&L M2500 Stupid Deal of the Day (3-25-13)

Don't know if this is the place to put something like this, but at $499 the honeyburst m2500 can't be beat!

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid/?icid=200510

I suspect many people already check out daily deals and whatnot, but just wanted to give a heads up!

That is super cheap.

I almost pulled the trigger but I need to stop buying basses just because they are a great deal!

Don't know if thats the same as the Tribute 5er from a few years ago, I had one and found the pickups to be way too hot for me. Also, I didn't like the close string spacing. I traded it for a MIM jazz that smelled like curry, traded it to GC for a pbass 5er.

Alan,

Can't beat that for $500.

Plus, like the Ashdown Little Bastard Deal of the Day, it will fun to see TBers freak out when you (or others) try to sell it down the road for more than $500 if you ever get sick of it.

It'll be interesting to see if that bass and I get along.
If it shows up weighing much over 9.5lbs, it'll be a very brief experiment.

Keep ordering them TB members! I can't swing it right now but I'll be ready in a few months when all you guys on the bass-merry-go-round get bad GAS for the next thing you haven't tried!

Holy %^&* Batman.

Too bad I have exceeded my monthly bass buying budget. By far.

Oh snot.

I just bought one a couple months ago at full price.

It is an excellent bass and I'd highly recommend anyone and everyone to pick one up at that price.

IMO, this is such an awesome deal that I think you were right to put it here where more people can easily find it.

IMO, of course.
