$228.65 with free shipping is an awesome deal for this bass. I have one of these that I paid full price for and it was worth every penny.
It had that typical single coil hum, so I replaced the pickups with DiMarzio Ultra Jazz V's which are humbuckers that fit in the single coil slots perfectly and this thing is killer now !!!! Everytime I play it at a gig everyone is blown away by the tone and cannot believe it is a Squier.
