Guitar center in Austin has a Matchless Superchief. It's a 120 Watt all Class A tube amp that sounds great for bass. They want $2500 for it, but you can talk em down to $2000...I mean, I got the NY GC to lower a $3500 to $1500 because it had not moved in a few months. Even at $2500, that's a deal and a half...Superchiefs aren't made anymore, and when they were, they were during the Sampson era at Matchless.
Had I not just bought a Thunderchief, I'd be all over this one. Seriously, this is an amp you will never want to let go.
