I'm not into Fender P-Basses, but if this is real it might turn out to be a deal to someone.

I am not an expert on vintage P's but a couple of things have me wondering about the ad.
One: The English usage is a little odd, "I do know how much it worth."
Two: The first photo of it is on a professional looking photography backdrop.

I would advise caution.

This dude posts this all over the country looking for suckers.

Also, if he knows how to use craigslist, he knows how to use google and ebay. You have to be an idiot not to look something up that has potential value. If you've been playing for 36 years as he says, you know what a vintage Fender is. Hell, you know what one is after talking to a bassist for 36 minutes.

Regardless -- people who list on CL without a price and say "I know what it('s) worth" (a) want the benefits of a bidding war without paying ebay fees and (b) aren't going to give you a good deal.

Yeah, make him an "offer" of 500$. I bet he'll send you a nasty reply saying "This bass is worth 20,000$"

Definately not professional photography haha... When I want to truley show a bass I use a white curtain (some foamy stuff that packed a tv I bought) and place it on a white board from the dollar tree, then I use the 150 dollar camera I bought at walmary on black Friday and it comes out looking like a million bucks (well I think so anyways haha). I don't know why this guy wouldn't list a price but I doubt he would exept a few hundred bucks, worth a try though lol
