Just took this to Music123.com and got the 123% price match - total price was $88.49 with free shipping. Thanks for the tip!

(BTW, you don't need to go through the online price match form - just call them up and they can do it on the spot.)

Nice. I suppose I shoulda done that, but I figured since AMS said stock was something like "Available Soon", I figured M123 wouldn't honor the price. Oh, well. An extra $11.50 ain't gonna kill me.

Are you kidding me? I just bought one from Elderly when they had that 20% on Tascam stuff, thinking it was a smokin' deal...

FWIW I have the bass trainer from last year....it is truly a peace and love instrument in my household. I can noodle away through an a$$ load of effects or dial in a cover tune without disturbing a soul in the house.

Question -- any preference between the MP3 or CD version? I'm on a Mac/iTunes, if that makes a difference.

I own both. The CD version is very sensitive to the quality of the disc you put in. I get all kinds of skips on burned CDs, even when they're in good shape. Not sure if it's just my unit or not. It also eats batteries at an alarming rate.

Anyway, I love the MP3 one - it's significantly smaller and the batteries last way longer. Also, with the SD card capability, you can take way more music with you.
